The HM42100 CNC vertical honing machine is widely used for honing machining of medium and small aperture mechanical parts, such as automotive, motorcycle parts, sewing machine parts, mechanical gears, mold guides, bearings, oil pump nozzles, damping cylinders, hydraulic valves and other tubular and disc-shaped parts with high precision and reliability. The precision after honing can reach IT6 level or above, which can meet the mass production of such parts. 1. Base and column section
The key components such as the machine body, columns, and spindle box are all made of HT300 cast iron, which has a stable structure and maintains quality. The casting has undergone finite element analysis and computer calculation analysis, with reasonable structural strength and reinforced rib matching, providing high mechanical rigidity. The casting structure adopts integrated molding technology, and the box structure is processed using a large gantry machining machine, which is completed in one clamping process. The machine tool has high rigidity, high strength, and excellent geometric positioning accuracy. And it can ensure the long-term stability and high precision of the machine tool.

2. Main rotating part
Composed of spindle servo motor, synchronous pulley, spindle, etc. High torque servo motor with arbitrary speed regulation and high torque output. There are complete automatic lubrication points (lubricating oil).

3. Servo reciprocating part
Composed of servo motor, ball screw, coupling, bearings, etc. Adopting a reciprocating drive method of servo holding brake motor and ball screw, the long slider of the track supports the load to achieve accurate stroke positioning, fast movement, and ensure precise positioning. It can achieve high-precision honing effect on through and blind holes

4. Servo feed section
Composed of servo motor, reducer, ball screw, coupling, feed rod, etc. Adopting servo motor+precision ball screw and matched with precision planetary reducer for quantitative and precise expansion, the minimum feed rate is 0.1 μ, ensuring the stability of machining dimensions.

The vertical honing machine has significant characteristics, with a relatively short spindle working stroke, making it particularly suitable for machining cylinder bodies and box holes. Its working principle is that the honing head embedded with oil stones is driven to rotate by a vertically arranged spindle and undergoes vertical reciprocating feed with the support of a hydraulic device to achieve fine machining (see machine tool working process).

In contrast, the characteristic of horizontal honing machines is their longer working stroke, which is particularly suitable for deep hole machining, reaching a depth of up to 3000 millimeters. The honing head remains horizontal and does not rotate, but instead moves back and forth along the axial direction, while the workpiece is driven to rotate by the spindle. The middle of the bed is equipped with a center frame and a guide frame, which are used to support the workpiece and the honing rod respectively, ensuring precise machining accuracy.

In the new type of honing machine, hydraulic expansion and contraction mechanism is a common feed method, which enables the oil stone to move radially and gradually grind the workpiece to the required size. These machines usually have semi-automatic functions, equipped with automatic measuring devices, and can be flexibly integrated into automatic production lines to improve production efficiency.
